S.E.E.D.S., Inc. is a US–based, African–centered, international non–governmental organization (NGO)
co–founded in 1992 by Jacqueline Wright, its Chairperson, and Akinlabi Mackall. S.E.E.D.S. is catalyst
organization, whose programs encourage leadership by example, grassroots collaborations and
collective work and responsibility (ujima).
�S.E.E.D.S.� is an acronym for Service, Education, Economic Development and Science, the �four
fundamentals� of the organization�s work (aka �seedswork�).
